Current Grant Opportunity View - GO6821

This grant opportunity was announced as part of the May 2023 Federal Budget and provides funding to continue the CHSP for a further 12 months from 01 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. This extension will allocate up to $3.143 billion in 2024-25 for existing directly contracted CHSP providers to deliver in home entry level aged care services to frail, older people aged 65 years and over (or aged 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people). It contributes to Outcome 3 of the Health Portfolio Budget Statements for 2023-24 which is improved wellbeing for older Australians through targeted support, access to appropriate, high quality care, and related information services.

To be eligible, you must:

• have an executed grant agreement with the Commonwealth as represented by the department of Health and Aged Care to deliver CHSP services that is due to expire on 30 June 2024; and
• have received an invitation to apply email from the department.
