Description:
The WorldSkills Australia Program will run over 2022-23 to 2025-26.
The objectives of the program are to:
- support skill competitions at the regional, national and international level to raise the profile of skills and vocational education and training (VET) in Australia
- support regional competitions to feed into national competitions and support eligible successful participants to represent Australia at the biennial international competition
- allow Australia to benchmark skills at regional, national and international levels.
The intended outcomes of the program are to:
- promote and build a skills culture by celebrating skills excellence
- promote participation in skills and VET as a valued career pathway
- inspire young people and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their trade skills and talents.
Eligibility:
To be eligible you must be WorldSkills Australia (ABN: 43 147 075 714).
Total Amount Available (AUD):
$7,609,000.00
