Description:

The NSSQ is an open, competitive grant program that will provide financial support to accredited tertiary education institution(s) (suppliers) for the purpose of designing and implementing a structured academic pathway that will provide post-graduate students with a qualification in nuclear safeguards.The purpose of this initiative is to foster interest in and develop expertise about nuclear safeguards to ensure Australia has the requisite expertise for the Commonwealth to draw upon in the future. The funding will support the standing up of a specialised pathway for post-graduate students who are interested in pursuing nuclear topics through disciplines such as science, law, technology, regulation, and national and international security.The funding will also include support for suppliers to stand up a scholarship program to attract prospective graduate students to the nuclear safeguards qualification. 

Eligibility:

To be eligible you must meet the following criteria: be a nationally accredited tertiary institution. This means that you must be listed in the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) National Register; have an Australian Business Number (ABN); be registered for the purposes of GST; have an account with an Australian financial institution; be an education institution incorporated in Australia; and be an Australian state or territory government body

$1,000,000.00

Estimated Grant Value (AUD):

From $800,000.00 to $1,000,000.00
