Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway (KTMW)
The KTMW grant contributes to the achievement of DVA’s Portfolio Budget Statement Outcome 3: acknowledgement and commemoration of those who served Australia and its allies in wars, conflicts and peace operations, and is appropriated under Program 3.2: Commemorative Activities.
The purpose of the grant is to support KTMW in continuing to commemorate the service of Second World War service personnel, by providing a financial contribution to its operation and maintenance costs and activities towards sustainability for a limited term.
The objectives of the grant opportunity are to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australian service personnel at the KTMW site, and to ensure KTMW can develop strategies and approaches to increase sustainability by the end of the 2025–26 financial year.
The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity are:
- to provide a financial contribution towards KTMW’s operation and maintenance costs and
- KTMW’s operational model is reviewed and enhanced allowing for greater financial and operational sustainability at the end of the 2025–26 financial year.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be the listed invited organisation in section 4.1 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
