Description:

The Australian Government is inviting one organisation via a restricted process to apply to deliver services under the Family Relationship Services Program (FRSP), under Program 1.5 – Family Relationships, and contributes to Outcome 1 – A just and secure society through the maintenance and improvement of Australia’s law, justice, security and integrity frameworks. The Safety Net Service program funding is being provided by the Attorney-General’s Department and will run over 4 years from 2022–23 to 2025–26.

The objective of the FRSP is to improve the wellbeing of Australian families, particularly families with children who are at risk of separating or have separated. Activities under the FRSP have a particular role in helping families with complex needs, including those with family violence issues. All FRSP activities must provide integrated services as part of the family law system and work in collaboration with other services and the community. These include specialist family violence, drug and alcohol, and legal services.

The program plays a role in assisting court users to navigate the new Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) structure.

The program will assist in the delivery of training to Court Network Inc. volunteers to enable the expansion of the service to include additional FCFCOA locations across Australia. Court Network Inc. will work with other stakeholders in the Family Relationship Services Program including the Family Law Pathway Networks and Family Relationship Centres.
