Description:

The Advancing research into the causes and treatment(s) of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Australia grant will provide up to $4 million (GST exc) funding over 2 years from 2022-23 to 2023-24.

The objectives of the grant opportunity are:

  • to identify and understand the origins, fundamental cause/s and risk factors of MND through relevant clinical, genetics and/or environmental/lifestyle studies
  • to understand the molecular basis and disease causing mechanisms of MND that contribute to the progression of the disease.

The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity are:

  • to provide advancements in the understanding of MND
  • to accelerate the development of more effective treatments or cure for MND.

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$4,000,000.00
