Intensive Employment Services
As part of its employment services reform, the Australian Government is inviting organisations via a restricted process to apply to deliver the early roll out of an Intensive Employment Service.
The Intensive Employment Service is for people with complex and interconnected barriers to employment, who have been unemployed for a significant period, may need additional support to build their confidence, capacity and capability and progress towards and into a job.
The program will test and refine the delivery of an intensive service model with wraparound support, ahead of a proposed national rollout.
The objectives of the program are to:
- test and refine an intensive service model that provides tailored, wraparound support delivered by skilled mentors to support people with diverse and intersecting employment challenges into employment
- improve participants’ confidence, capacity and capability to progress towards employment
- strengthen links between employment assistance and complementary supports that address barriers to participation in employment and work readiness
- generate evidence about effective service settings, delivery approaches and enabling conditions for future employment services reform
- support shared learning across grantees through a community of practice to inform continuous improvement and future service design.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be one of the invited organisations and have received an invitation to apply through GrantConnect.
By invitation only.
