Description:

The Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program was announced as part of the 2019-20 Budget Measure ‘Prioritising Mental Health – caring for our community’. This program’s aim is to strengthen national access to perinatal mental health and wellbeing support services to improve health outcomes for expectant and new parents experiencing, or at risk of, perinatal mental health issues. 

The Continuing Support grant opportunity is one of two grant opportunities available under the Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program.  It is designed to extend funding to organisations currently receiving Commonwealth funding for perinatal mental health and wellbeing activities, to maintain service delivery and continue to meet the outcomes and objectives of the Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program.

Eligibility:

As this is a closed non-competitive grant opportunity, only the following four organisations are eligible to apply:
PANDA – Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia Inc;
Red Nose Limited; 
Sands – Miscarriage Stillbirth Newborn Death Support; and 
Parent-Infant Research Institute Inc.

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$13,560,000.00
