The purpose of this Grant Opportunity is to provide financial assistance to eligible CHSP providers deemed most at risk of experiencing financial difficulty (including insolvency) as a result of moving to a new payment mechanism, monthly payment in arrears in the 2022-23 FY

The objectives of the Grant Opportunity are to:

• Assist providers with bridge funding to assist in cash flow management in the implementation of the changes to ensure providers remain solvent; and
• Maintain service viability through managing administrative, systems and operational costs in the implementation of the changes.

To be eligible you must:

• Have an executed Standard Grant Agreement being extending CHSP funding into 2022-23
• Be funded less than $625,000 in 2022-23 for CHSP services through the Standard Grant Agreement
• Have less than 1 month’s underspend (predicted or actual) for the 2021-22 FY
• Not be receiving subsidy payments for Home Care Packages (HCP)
• Not be receiving payments under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

• Do this by the closing date and time, as specified on the front cover of these guidelines.
