Description:

The purpose of this grant is to fund delivery of eligible Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) activities from 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2026. The available funding will be targeted to ABS Indigenous Regions 2021 (IREG). Funded organisations are required to take a preventive population health approach that effectively achieves the required reach to all First Nations people within the IREG which they service.

Funding will only be offered to the one organisation per IREG that is assessed as the most suitable applicant to lead the delivery of the TIS program in that IREG.

This is a targeted competitive grant opportunity. Only applications from eligible organisations listed in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines will be considered.

Eligibility:

To be eligible you must be a listed organisation/s.

You are not eligible if you are an organisation, or your project partner is an organisation, included on the National Redress Scheme’s website on the list of ‘Institutions that have not joined or signified their intent to join the Scheme’.

If the potential grantee does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, it will not be considered.
