Description:
The Daintree Microgrid grant opportunity will support the implementation of a renewable energy microgrid incorporating hydrogen in the Daintree community which will:
- improve the affordability, reliability and security of energy supply for the Daintree community in northern Queensland
- support the demonstration of microgrid solutions incorporating hydrogen to help accelerate deployment of these critical technologies
- reduce the Daintree community’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Grant Activity Timeframe:
Maximum project period is 2 years.
