Marine Turtle Climate Change Resilience and Nest Protection
The program reflects the Government's efforts to protect and restore threatened and/or migratory species protected under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
The program is to support the need to build marine turtle resilience to climate change, particularly to the effects of increases in sand temperature that determine hatchling sex and affect hatching success.
