Phase 1 – survey on consent education
The purpose of the grant is to support the Australian Government’s agenda to strengthen prevention and early intervention efforts in family, domestic and sexual violence. It includes the delivery of a national survey that is intended to:
· collect information about the extent of secondary students’ consent education and their understanding of these issues
· invite schools to share their experiences of delivering respectful relationships education.
The nature of the grant is specifically dependent on the Australian Human Rights Commission being the provider of this service. The Australian Human Rights Commission has been identified as the appropriate provider because it is a national organisation with a long-standing and trusted approach to research and analysis.
