• state or territory incorporated association status
• constitutional documents and/or Articles of Association that demonstrate the not-for-profit character of your organisation

The Family Support Funding Program is administered by Defence Member and Family Support and all applications are assessed by the Family Support Advisory Committee assessment panel specially convened for this purpose.
The assessment panel then provides advice, recommendations and any relevant terms and conditions to the Minister for Defence Personnel for approval.
If acknowledgment of your application has not been received within 5 business days from lodgement, it is advisable for organisations to contact the FSFP grants team via defence.communitygrants@defence.gov.au or the Defence Member and Family Helpline on 1800 624 608.
