Description:

This Grant Opportunity is an extension of the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Regional Tobacco Control Grants (RTCG) 2023-24 to 2025-26, that are in place with 26 TIS Lead Organisations, across 37 Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Indigenous regions (IREG/s).

It includes an additional year (2026-27 FY) and increased funding, to enable TIS Lead Organisations to strengthen their focus on recreational vaping prevention activities, while also maintaining efforts to reduce tobacco smoking.

As a key element of the Budget Measure (2023-24) – Tackling Smoking and Vaping and Improving Cancer Outcomes, the extended and expanded TIS program will be implemented through variation of the existing TIS RTCG grant agreements that are in place with current TIS Lead Organisations.
