Drug and Alcohol Program - Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Research Grants
The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Research Grant Opportunity aims to reduce the impact of drug and alcohol use on individuals, families and communities through high quality research projects, ensuring the Government’s efforts to address alcohol and other drug use are informed by the latest evidence. Funding provided under this grant opportunity will be used by Alcohol and Other Drug Research Centres to support the continuation of alcohol and other drug research which: aligns with government priorities and supports policy development, enables provision of timely advice on a range of relevant topics outlined by the National Drug Strategy, translates research findings to meet end user needs and for the promotion of evidence-based information and education through development and dissemination of resources to key stakeholders.
This grant opportunity will be available to the four Alcohol and Other Drug eligible research centres including the National Drug Research Institute, the National Centre For Youth Substance Use Research, the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction and the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre.
