Description:

This grant opportunity was announced as part of the 2023-24 Federal Budget. A total of $2.29 million over 1 year is being provided to continue support and early intervention initiatives for chronic conditions through the following four activities:

  • Activity 1 – Juvenile Arthritis - Support for health professionals, $0.8M
  • Activity 2 – Childhood Dementia (rare diseases) - support for consumers and health professionals, $0.75M
  • Activity 3 – Implementation of the National Strategy for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education, $0.44M
  • Activity 4 – Stroke – Consumer Awareness and Education – F.A.S.T project, $0.30M

To be eligible for this Grant Opportunity you must be one of these organisations:

  • Activity 1 - Juvenile Arthritis Foundation Australia (ABN 99 637 927 952)
  • Activity 2 - Childhood Dementia Initiative (ABN 84 642 096 053)
  • Activity 3 - Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ABN 82 055 042 852)
  • Activity 4 - National Stroke Foundation (ABN 42 006 173 379)
