Hearing Assessment Program – Early Ears (HAPEE)
This grant opportunity will enable the delivery of diagnostic hearing assessments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the years prior to primary school, particularly in rural and remote communities.
The purpose of the grant opportunity is to reduce the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children with undiagnosed hearing loss and the consequential delayed auditory, cognitive and psychosocial development.
