Prioritising Mental Health: Lifeline Australia - Enhanced telephone and online crisis service
The grant opportunities available under these guidelines focus on ensuring continued support for digital mental health services identified in the 2018-19 Budget and implementation of the Government’s mental health reform agenda.
The Prioritising Mental Health: Lifeline Australia - Enhanced telephone and online crisis service grant opportunity will run over three years from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2025.

- Lifeline Australia (ABN: 84 081 031 263)
The organisation listed above has been assessed to have:
- capability to deliver the grant activities nationally
- existing infrastructure and relationships to support the grant activities
- experience and capability to deliver to the grant objectives and outcomes
- demonstrated value for money in delivering outcomes in the current market
Lifeline Australia is the only eligible organisation because of its long-standing service to the Australian Community as the single largest 24/7 national crisis support service. There is also a significant Commonwealth funding history for Lifeline Australia for this service, with associated strong performance and Lifeline regularly exceeding service delivery targets. Lifeline has the largest call volumes of all crisis support services and has been funded by the Australian Government to support its 13 11 14 telephone service since 2004-05.
