Description:

The purpose of the grant opportunity is to provide additional support to First Nation elders in Alice Springs and its surrounding area. It contributes to the achievement of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) under the department’s Outcome 3 – Ageing and Aged Care through Program 3.2 Aged Care Services. 

The CHSP Program aims to provide high-quality support, at a low intensity on a short-term basis, or higher intensity services delivered on a short-term basis, to frail older people.

 

The objectives of the grant opportunity are:  

• to provide high-quality support, culturally safe aged care services to First Nations Elders in Alice Springs and its immediate surrounds. 

The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity is: 

• to ensure access and delivery of high quality, culturally safe aged care to vulnerable First Nations Elders in Alice Springs and its immediate surrounds. 

 

Eligibility:

To be eligible, you must be the listed organisation and have received an invitation to participate from the department.
