Equipment Grants provide funding to facilitate the procurement of equipment designed to support the highest quality health and medical research. Equipment Grant funding is intended to assist ongoing competitively funded medical research across Australia.

All Administering Institutions receiving NHMRC research funds are eligible to receive Equipment Grant funding. A list of NHMRC-approved Administering Institutions is available on NHMRC’s website. There will be a single Equipment Grant payment made to eligible institutions based on grant payments of the 2020/2021 financial year.
