Purpose:
Deakin will use the grant funding to develop and deliver the ManuFutures Export Acceleration Program (MEAP) to enable the innovative emerging advanced manufacturing enterprises co–located in ManuFutures to strengthen their export focus and accelerate their entry into global markets. ManuFutures is a hub for innovation in the Geelong Economic Futures Precinct on the Waurn Ponds Campus. The program will offer business skills training, highly skilled mentors, project teams of Work Integrated Learning students and interns, and access to researchers from across the University as well as subsidised access to trade missions. The program will assist these enterprises to grow at an accelerated rate and produce for export earlier than usual.
