Safe Recovery - Reducing Falls Injuries by Older People in Australian Hospitals
Purpose:
Falls in Australian hospitals lead to injuries and poor outcomes for older patients. This project aims to reduce hospital falls by implementing an evidence-based patient fall prevention education program. Three health services nationally will implement and evaluate the education. The team focus is on strong consumer participation and building new researcher capacity and skills in ageing and hospital care, We will improve older patients' outcomes and hospital safety.
