Purpose:
A space for students to work on collaborative projects during the Applied Science enrichment program with a focus on conversation and agritech to support the cross–curricular priority area of sustainability. Students will combine skills from different subject areas to tinker and complete hands on, real–world projects with a focus on conservation and Agritech. With the world losing available space for growing food, technology and practices must become more efficient. Knowledge of robotics and automation will be developed to create innovative solutions to problems faced in the agriculture industry. Systems to monitor weather, irrigation, soil condition and other vital statistics will be developed to deliver data to centralised systems.
