Purpose:
In 2019, we are beginning a new program for our Year 8 students, who will be working on regular project based learning tasks to increase their capacity in, amongst other areas, STEM skills and concepts. To link in with their Digital Technologies learning around interfaces and programming, we aim to create portable workstations that can be used across the curriculum, but especially aimed at the PBL groups, that include tools and equipment for building digitally–controlled solutions to various problems encountered during their PBL classes. The workstations will supplement our existing kits of Micro:Bit devices, and allow the students to extend the possibilities for their problem solving.
