Warranwood's Makerspace
Purpose:
Warranwood Primary is excited about setting up a Makerspace. We have identified that it will be a vital component to comprehensively teach 21st century skills that our students need to excel in an ever changing landscape. The space will be used to hone teachers abilities to explore key aspects of the STEM curriculum, developing students practical thinking skills, whilst gaining a deep understanding of the process of designing and creating. Our Makerspace will allow students to explore current and emerging technologies in a collaborative, multi–age environment. The space will be used by every class throughout the school, promoting creative thinking, collaboration and adapting ideas to create solutions to real life problems.
