Riddells Creek PS Robocup Junior LEGO Robotics Teams
Purpose:
Students will participate in the Robocup rescue line division and Robocup Spike challenge. They will use the design thinking process to define, ideate, prototype and test both their robot design and code. Each of the challenges require autonomous robot function and so the construction and design must work together in a predictable, repeatable fashion. The key outcomes include: expanding their experience of STEM thinking and application, deepening their problem-solving skills and digital literacy, expanding their computational thinking and coding skills of a controllable robot, and demonstrating that female students have the same capability as male students in STEM tasks.
