Purpose:
AIR KISS is our participatory community arts project. Based on its success over the last two years, we want to expand it to 4 artists and frame the project as the 5 Japanese elements, Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Void. Exploring 4 different elements led by 4 spectacular artists to weave together the natural beauty of Kiama's dairy farming, volcanic, seaside greenery, using only recycled paper, to acknowledge past, present and future Kiama. The 5th element of Void - spirit, thought, creativity, energy and inventiveness will be realised by the coming together of festival attendees to create, communicate, collaborate and celebrate.
