Purpose:

This program will address gaps in knowledge about prevention, resilience and recovery from complex trauma among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The program aims to validate an Aboriginal resilience and recovery measure; develop a complex trauma screening and assessment tool; and conduct collaborative research with Aboriginal trial sites that lead to the development of assessment strategies and therapeutic practices that address the effects of complex trauma across the life span.
