Purpose:
As a general paediatrician, my research has been designed to reduce the burden of common and important conditions that I manage in our hospital and community, including allergy and asthma. A Career Development Fellowship will enable me to continue to contribute to the excellence of clinical services in regional Australia, and at the same time lead our NHMRC funded program of population based research into the role of commensal bacteria in the prevention of immune related disease.
