Purpose:
LaserBond Limited is a surface engineering company that focuses on the development and application of materials, technologies and methodologies to increase operating performance and wear life of components of machinery in capital-intensive industries. Under its project, LaserBond Limited will build an automated laser cladding cell incorporating Industry 4.0 technology. The project will allow LaserBond Limited to design and install an automatic, integrated laser cladding cell that pushes the boundaries in the areas of robotics, surface engineering and laser cladding. The project is expected to create 26 highly skilled jobs, with flow on effect to its customers and suppliers, and transform the company's production processes, allowing it to access new and expanded geographical markets and industries.
