Purpose:
Firefeast Pty Ltd manufactures Lavosh flatbread. The FF 6.0 project involves the purchase and installation of a customised forming and cutting line with motorised docking unit and rotary moulding device. It will also include building works to accommodate the new equipment. The automated production line will increase production capacity by 30% with no increase in energy consumption. It will deliver improved inventory management and control through wireless data systems and deliver Industry 4.0 capability, allowing competitive entry into international markets. The project will upskill existing staff and create 1 new job early on in the project, with a further 2 part time positions following project implementation.
