Purpose:
PTE Hydraulics Pty Ltd (PTE) will acquire the latest helical spline measuring software for its Hexagon Global Coordinate Measuring Machine to guarantee the accuracy of the mating splined components in its Hydraulic Rotary Actuators (HRAs).
Equipment will also be installed to measure the metal particle count in hydraulic oil exiting the HRAs on their final cycle test before dispatch to ensure there is no unacceptable wear occurring.
PTE, Australia’s only manufacturer of HRAs is now in a position to grow its sales by exporting to key overseas markets. This software/equipment will ensure that a consistent, premium quality product is produced which is an essential requirement for supplying into demanding markets such as America and Europe.
