This is a two-pound canon used during World War 2 by the Australian armed forces as an anti-tank and anti-personnel 2-inch canon, manufactured by Holden during World War 2. Holden manufactured approximately three hundred of these canons which were used all over the front lines during the war effort. Very few of these have survived. They represent a unique piece of our nation's history and they are extremely rare.
