Purpose:
BioCarbon Pty Ltd has developed an innovative process to manufacture renewable carbon material into a form suitable to be used as a fossil carbon replacement in Electric Arc Furnace steelmaking. This new product will allow steelmakers to decrease their carbon footprint without incurring large capital costs for modifying their equipment or processes. Accelerating Commercialisation support will be used to help BioCarbon run a commercial trial of its novel product with an engaged industry partner in order to demonstrate its benefits to domestic and international steelmakers alike.
