Toowoomba Engineering Unit Trust has developed an innovative precision planting technology for broadacre winter cropping that achieves seed singulation with a tyne implement. The GROUND BREAKER technology has been successfully trialled for Canola seed in Western Australia enabling farmers to precisely plant seeds and subsequently manage variable inputs to reduce the cost of inputs and improved yield.
