Purpose:
Canvas Coworking Inc. will use grant funds to establish the FLAIR Incubator for five female–led, regionally based businesses that aspire to trade internationally. The program will be delivered in–person and virtually in order to overcome barriers to participation by regional women. It is designed in response to a lack of entrepreneurial support for regional women and in order to develop diversity business opportunities in a drought–stricken region. The 16–week program will be tailored to the cohort and designed to develop entrepreneurial skills, behaviours and connections locally and internationally, that will enable them to confidently launch or grow their business into an international market.
