Hammond Conversions currently hold 30&#37 of the Australian market share in hearse manufacturing. This submission is in response to ongoing enquiries from Funeral Directors for a replacement vehicle once Ford and Holden cease local production. The project will extend on existing facilities to accommodate the design and construction of the Hammond ‘Sapphire&apos hearse range to complement our existing product range. As the automobile industry and consumers adjust, we have identified an opportunity to embrace innovative design and manufacturing technology to produce a new hearse that will fill the void, increase our local market share, generate export opportunities, grow the local economy and create high skill long term employment in the NSW South Coast region.
