Purpose:
Undertake various repatriation projects as outlined below. These activities will include consultation aspects as well as the physical return of both ancestral remains and secret sacred objects. There is also a component that will reimburse the Australian museum for the employment of an Indigenous repatriation officer . The project will undertake projects in the Northern Territory,Far North Queensland , South Australia and NSW. The Northern Territory project is a joint one with the National Museum of Australia, Victorian Museum and the Queensland Museum.
