Purpose:
Transforming Transport is a collaboration between the grantee and Southern Cross University (SCU) in the Northern Rivers, Coffs Harbour, and Gold Coast regions. It will support 360 regional based youth (including girls and Indigenous youth) across twelve design challenges and three intensive incubator programs. Inspiring the next generation of green entrepreneurialism, youth will overcome traditional barriers as they develop and apply STEM and entrepreneurial knowledge to launch social enterprise solutions in relation to the Future of Transport. Students will be connected with industry-leading mentors and academics and access the facilities at SCU including their award-winning Kombi conversion project (from petrol to electric).
