Purpose:
We currently have in the motel, older style box air conditioners and wall mounted heaters, and ageing hot water systems. Our wish is to be able to lower our energy consumption and output by replacing with new and more environmentally friendly systems. We would also like to lower costs in the day to day business operations as these are a large cost factor. As we cannot annually raise motel rates due the very competitive market, we must aim to reduce operating costs that are continually rising each year.
We will replace two existing bathroom hot water heaters with more efficient solar hot water heaters.
We will replace seven wall air–conditioners with more quiet and efficient split system air–conditioners.
