Grant Activity:
Pattern and Print: Easton Pearson Archive
Purpose:

'Pattern and Print: Easton Pearson Archive' is a curated selection of garments from the award-winning exhibition, 'The Designers' Guide: Easton Pearson Archive' that was on display at Museum of Brisbane from November 2018 - April 2019. Designed for touring, this exhibition showcases the daring design, technical innovations, bespoke fabric and bold prints the Australian fashion house became known for over its remarkable 28-year history. The success of Easton Pearson hinged on the creative relationship between designers Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson, whose unique ways of working and support of ethical manufacture made a lasting impact on the Australian fashion industry.
