Purpose:
Logan City Council, supported by its membership with the Los Angeles-based Network for Global Innovation, will deliver the USA Market Access Program through The coLab Growth Centre in the City of Logan. The incubator will build the capability of scaling ventures to enter the USA market, providing the programming, connections and practical support for scale-ups ready for significant domestic and/or international expansion. The City of Logan is home to people from 217 different cultural backgrounds, so our firm goal over time is for a minimum of 30% of companies participating in the incubator to be migrant/refugee-led start-ups. The incubator will run over 8 months. It is a unique initiative for an Australian local government.
