Purpose:
This project will upgrade the Collinsville Aerodrome airstrip from a gravel surface to a sealed surface. This will increase pilot and passenger safety and provide all-weather access especially for critical aero-medical retrievals by the Royal Flying Doctor Service, other emergency services and other airport users who service the local community, mining, energy, agriculture and defence sectors.
