The Australia-China Youth Dialogue (ACYD) brings together 30 high-performing Australian and Chinese delegates aged 25-40 for a four-day inter-disciplinary dialogue. Delegates explore critical themes relevant to both countries that challenge them to broaden their thinking on the bilateral relationship.

All delegates are accomplished emerging leaders selected from a diverse set of backgrounds. They?have demonstrated sustained commitment to public service, outstanding academic credentials, and extensive leadership experience.

The dialogue uses a variety of formats, such as interactive panel sessions, security crisis simulation sessions and entrepreneurial pitch sessions. All sessions are guided by leading Australian and Chinese experts drawn from a range of backgrounds.

The principal goal of the ACYD is to develop deeper and broader relationships between key emerging leaders from Australia and China. These relationships, over time, facilitated by the ACYD Alumni Network (product of the ACYD) will foster spin-off collaboration across a range of sectors.
