Install a solar panel system at Zoe Centre 2 –270 Deakin Avenue
Purpose:
Zoe Support Australia will engage Mildura Solar to install a 6.27kW solar system at Zoe Centre 2, including REC TwinPeak 2 Mono Series solar panels and a DNS Series 5kW inverter, as soon as possible upon hearing the grant outcome and before June 2022. Zoe Centre 2 houses case management offices, a study hub with computers, printing and internet, classrooms for pre–accredited programs for clients and a childcare room. Zoe Support assists young mothers aged 13–25 to re–engage in education, employment and social programs to improve outcomes for themselves and their children. This project will contribute to Zoe Support becoming environmentally–friendly, by supporting energy–efficiency and will save us an estimated $1285 annually, which can be re–directed to other Zoe Support services and programs. It will also increase access to study supports through energy–efficiency in the study room.
