Purpose:
QUT bluebox and QUT are developing a first in class diagnostic to detect oral cancer at an early stage when medical interventions are much more effective for patient survival. The test uses a simple saliva swab, avoiding the need for a blood test which will make the test easier to access. The Entrepreneur's Programme commercialisation support will be used to gather additional patient data and further validate the test to support a growing industry partnership and the exercise of a licence option with MDxHealth which is an international diagnostics company.
