Purpose:
This proposal describes a need, ability and strategy to develop, deliver and evaluate training for non-indigenous mental health professionals. With a goal of improved health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients accessing public hospital and mental health services of Queensland, the project will engage expertise across cultural capability, mental health, communication, and economic evaluation.
