Upgrade air–conditioning units and installation of 100% block–out drapes.
Purpose:
Upgrading 10 box window reverse cycle air–conditioning units in guest rooms to 3.5kw split system air–conditioners with inverter technology and more efficient star ratings to reduce our overall energy consumption.
Installation of 5m x 2.4m 100% block–out drapes in 10 guest rooms to enhance the room heating/cooling and provide better insulation. The drapes will reduce the sunlight in summer as well as providing better insulation from the cold in winter and reducing the use of heating & cooling throughout the year.
