Four Year Support for the Australasian Road Safety Conference Program
The Australasian College of Road Safety is the peak membership association for road safety professionals, advocates, and members of the public who are focused on saving lives and serious injury on our roads.
The Australasian Road Safety Conference is held each year in a different State, Territory or New Zealand. It is jointly convened by the ACRS and Austroads, managed by the College and in 2019 included the Centre of Automotive Research at the University of Adelaide as Inviting Partners. The 2020 Conference will be held in Melbourne.
This grant provides support for two associated activities:
Activity A: support the Australasian Road Safety Conferences for four years as a Gold Sponsor ($27,500 ex GST per year for four years - $110,000 Ex GST in total); and
Activity B: fund a group of scholarships for delegates to the conferences from Low- and Middle-Income Countries in Asia-Pacific and Africa and for these delegates to present peer reviewed papers at the Conferences ($22,500 ex GST per year for four years - $90,000 Ex GST in total).
This Grant is being provided under, and these Grant Details form part of, the Agreement between the Commonwealth and the Grantee dated 12 December 2019 - RSAEF-Closed-3, Australasian College of Road Safety.
